Residential Care
85 Bath Road ....................... something rather special, an ordinary life

85 Bath Road is a residential care home for deaf autistic adults with learning disabilities, complex needs and associated challenging behaviour. We can accommodate five adults and caters for both male and female Service Users over the age of18. The care home is situated in a residential area occupying a Victorian house walking distance from the city centre.

We offers a warm and friendly environment with individual accommodation and communal areas to include; lounge, kitchen and dining room. There is also a landscaped garden to the front and a seated patio area to the rear of the property.

The care provided is tailored to the requirements of the individual and there is a high ratio of staff to Service Users. Individuals are encouraged to lead fulfilling lives, interacting with the community and developing independence and life skills. We administer medication and provide 24 hour support with personal care.

We encourage Service Users to take part in activities at the home as well as outside in the community e.g. arts & crafts, trips to go swimming and visits to Snoezelen where they can enjoy the hydrotherapy pool, soft play area, music room and art room.

Our Manager Josephine Fowler together with her dedicated team of Support Workers work very hard to ensure that our residents receive a very high standard of care. The majority of our residents have been with us for some time. The care home is registered with the Care Quality Commission CQC; the governing body that regulates, inspects and reviews all adult social care services in public, private and voluntary sectors.
